Lata Wall Hanging

This large-scale wall hanging brings together natural fibres, handwoven texture and considered construction to create a striking feature for the home. Its layered surface and generous proportions give it a strong visual presence, making it well suited to bedrooms, living spaces or anywhere depth and materiality are desired.

Handwoven on traditional backstrap looms from a blend of seagrass and hemp, Lata is woven as one continuous panel. The design moves between areas of closed weave and more open, textural sections, creating variation across the surface. Supplied on a timber rod, it also includes a length of hemp twine for an alternative hanging option, ideal for renters or flexible styling.

Ethically handmade by skilled artisans in Bangladesh, each piece is woven using techniques passed down through generations. From their home to yours, Lata supports genuine Fair Trade practices, creating sustainable income and meaningful work for the women who make it.
