Substance, strength and style - our Clay Jute Shoppers have been handwoven from natural jute to shop with you for years to come. These eco-friendly shopping bags are full of our trademark texture, and make a lovely statement piece on a hook at home when not in use.
This stunning fabric is handwoven by fair trade artisans in a remote, rural community of Bangladesh, who work from home or a community weaving space on traditional wooden looms. The earthy clay colour has been carefully created by a natural dyeing process making these bags truly sustainable.
Finally, the bags have been sewn and topped with two sturdy wrapped jute handles in a sewing workshop that supports women who have been rescued from vulnerable situations.
