The generous size of our hand towels provides ample coverage and versatility while also being lightweight and quick-drying, making them ideal for everyday use. Designed with durability and longevity in mind, the edges are neatly sewn to prevent fraying, however being handwoven a little care is required to prevent pulled threads. Please note that these towels will shrink by approx 5cm on the first wash and we have designed them larger to allow for this shrinkage.

Handwoven from 100% organic cotton, these hand towels are not only incredibly soft but also environmentally sustainable. Grown without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides, our cotton is gentle on the skin and environmentally friendly. It is also highly absorbent, ensuring that you can dry your hands quickly and effectively.

Our towels are handcrafted by a small Fair Trade women's weaving co-operative in southern India using traditional spinning wheels and looms. The skilled artisans are all owners of the organisation so they are involved in all aspects of operation including setting prices and wages. All of the women have been trained by master weavers to ensure the highest quality and to create long-term employment opportunities.

• 56cmW x 98cmL / 22in x 38.6in approx.  Please note, these towels will shrink by approx 5-7cm on the first wash. We designed them larger to allow for this shrinkage. Features a loop for hanging.
• - 100% certified organic cotton
  - Handspun on traditional spinning wheels
  - Handwoven on traditional looms.
  - Each hand towel has been finished with sewn hems around all four sides and hanging loop.
• - Our towels are crafted entirely by hand and special care is required to maintain their beautiful appearance.
  - Avoid handling with sharp objects or jewellery to reduce the risk of threads pulling.
  - Machine wash 40 degrees celsius 
  - Wash with similar colours
  - Do not bleach.
  - Dry outdoors in shade to avoid fading or tumble dry on low heat.
